OGS21 - Putting Ceres into orbit around Mars

Why put Ceres into orbit around Mars

By using an A.I. matrix, we can put an asteroid of a fair size, like Ceres or Lutetia, into orbit around Mars. This will then energize the planet-core due to magma tides. The oceans of Mars that have retreated into the planet-core, will then be pushed back to the surface, out of their aquifers, by the heat. And Mars will come back to life...

All that is required ... is an astronomical amount of energy ...

... and the will to survive.

How to put Ceres into orbit around Mars

Select any of the asteroids in the asteroid belt. Any of them will do it, but Ceres, being heaviest is harder to move. We then place a kinetic weapon in orbit around Ceres and fire a sequence of smaller astroids at its surface in a direction counter to the orbit that Ceres takes around the Sun.

This will slow down the asteroid so that its orbit now intersects the orbit of Mars. Ironically, when we slow it down, it will of course, speed up! But that is gravity for you...

But that is the easy part. The tricky bit is doing it precisely so as to place it in orbit around Mars. Without crashing it INTO Mars !

Download OGS21 (orbit-gravity-sim-21.exe) to interact directly with celestial orbital mechanics. OGS21 is a free fun PC application with A.I. attached to the launch sequence to make it precisely repeatable.
